• Living Areas: Dust all baseboards, door frames, and light fixtures. Move furniture to vacuum underneath. Wipe down blinds, which trap pollen at alarming speed during spring winds.
• Entryways & Mud Rooms: Clean door tracks, scrub entry mats, and wipe down door handles. This is where most of the outside dust enters — stop it here.
• HVAC Vents & Filters: Replace furnace filters and vacuum all supply/return vents. Desert dust clogs filters faster here than nearly anywhere else in Washington.
